First Annual Fishing Charter Raffle

Thank you to everyone that helped make our 1st annual fishing raffle a huge success!

First Prize Winner

On this cold, cloudy and windy day the first prize fishing raffle winner Rich Clausen had a slow day of fishing with his son Cody on the river today.
They were with Reel Easy fishing charter Captain jay Martin and 1st mate Mark.
The striped bass had lock jaw today and only one catfish was caught all day. But a slow day of fishing is better than a good day at work!

Second Prize Winner

Second place charter winner Richard Bachman, his father, and friend went on his fishing charter today with Captain Peter Longo. With clear blue skies and a light southern wind, it wasn’t 15 minutes and Captain Pete had him hooked up with a beautiful 28″ striper. One more 27″ and a 30″ striper quickly followed, but the southern wind coming up and the tide going out turned the river rough chop.
“As Captain Pete tried moving us into a cove, the outgoing tide and a stiff 25mph wind turned the river rough, making fishing very difficult. With 3 fish on deck, a great boat ride and a beautiful day today everyone was happy.”

Third Prize Winner

Tom Meeks of Kingston, New York was the 3rd prize winner of a Striper Surf Casting 11′ Tsunami Rod and Okuma Reel plus lots of gear.
