
Step back in time and experience a Civil War Day at the Lloyd Rod & Gun Club. This event features tactics and weapons demonstrations, insights into camp life, and a full schedule of historical reenactments presented by the 150th New York State Volunteer Infantry.
Join us for an immersive Civil War Day at the Lloyd Rod & Gun Club, offering a unique opportunity to witness history come alive!
This special event is scheduled for June 14th, from 10 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., and promises a day filled with educational and engaging activities.
Attendees will experience:
- Tactics & Weapons Demonstrations
- Insights into Civil War Camp Life, including cooking, living in the field, and tents
Here's a detailed schedule for the day:
- 10 A.M. - Camp Opens to the Public
- 11 A.M. - Manual of Arms & Bayonet Drill
- 12 P.M. - The Men prepare & eat Dinner
- 1 P.M. - Maneuvering & Firing Demonstration
- 1:30 P.M. - Club Members can fire their own Black Powder with soldier supervision
- 2 P.M. - Skirmish Drill
- 3 P.M. - Maneuvering & Firing Demonstration
